GATHER for HER | The Braid

Firing-up Community Building in the Changemaking Ecosystem

GATHER for HER is a community of Indigenous and non-Indigenous changemakers coming together on a consistent basis to learn, heal, and grow - together - and a digital storytelling platform that tracks these raw, real, and authentic conversations and tells the story of the wisdom gathered for a purpose throughout this individual and collective journey of expansion.

Who is ‘The Braid’? - They are the four GATHER for HER co-hosts that bring us together each week for co-created conversations and connection with Indigenous and non-Indigenous changemakers, you may know them as Charlene SanJenko, Tina Overbury, Sharon Marshall, and Christina Benty. They have become ‘The PowHERhouse Braid’ because they have embodied a practice of weaving their leadership ‘lanes’ together to amplify their impact. You’ve heard the saying about each individual strand being stronger together than apart, right? The Braid is committed to exploring the real-time experience of interconnectivity, modelling the possibility available to accelerate the impact of changemakers using untapped potential available through this concept - fiercely independent yet fully interconnected.

By firing-up our community building as a truly interconnected ecosystem of changemakers, we can go from local to global impact with more ease and a compounding ripple. Join The Braid on December 15th for a co-created conversation about what the experience of ‘braiding for impact’ looks and feels like for the individual and the collective and how we can intentionally step into this proven and leverageable changemaking model to fire-up our impact in the next 12-36 months.

An Artist, an Illuminator, an Orator, and a Muse, two Indigenous and two non-Indigenous changemakers explore the experience of co-created leading to fully leverage and realize interconnected impact.
