GATHER with Heather Murphy
Excavating an Entrepreneurial vision Through a Matriarchal Lens
GATHER is a community of diverse changemakers coming together on a consistent basis to learn, unlearn, heal, and grow, and a digital storytelling platform that tracks these raw, real, and authentic conversations and tells the story of the wisdom gathered for a purpose throughout this individual and collective journey of expansion.
Who is Heather?
Heather is a proud member of the Métis Nation. In her journey to uncover her identity as a woman and mother, she fuels her passion to support other Metis, Inuit, and First Nations women in their journeys of entrepreneurship. She has been highly involved at Women Entrepreneurs of Saskatchewan since 2015, teaching workshops from unlocking the keys to getting found online, to wasting less time on social media. She has over a decade of speaking and teaching experience and is passionate about sharing information to empower business owners and individuals to be their best. Her keynotes cover everything from branding and current marketing trends to entrepreneurship and the power of femininity. We are honored to have recently welcomed Heather to the house as a PowHERhouse Amplify coach as well!
Why is this conversation important?
Heather shared a story about a Cree mama by the fire that gives a warning to her child with a kissing sound - once. If that child doesn’t listen, they get burned. Either way there is an opportunity to learn - the child learns not to touch fire, and that their mama has wisdom for them.
It’s not about being in control.
It’s about being presence and guiding.
And allowing natural consequences to occur.
How do you co-create? What are some ways that you are inviting in opportunities for co-creation? The invitation here is to take five minutes and reflect or journal on these questions.
Gather with us on December 7th at 8 am PT for a co-created conversation and relational leader community experience. LIVE on LinkedIn.
Register for the private and interactive wisdom circle below for the following week where we hold space for sharing, unpacking, and integrating the wisdom we heard from the guest and the co-hosts.
