With more than 16 years of experience in morning radio, Robin is also an active member of the Victoria community, where she co-founded and co-chaired the Cycle of Hope Society – a five-year fundraising project to raise awareness and inspire hope in families living with ALS, and has participated in the Canadian Cancer Society Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock as a media rider.
Farrell was most recently at 107.3 KOOL FM, where she hosted KOOL Mornings for the past 11 years. While at the station she won the coveted “Morning Show of the Year” award at Canadian Music Week (2013) along with Brian Bailey. No stranger to the Rogers radio family, Farrell previously worked in Vancouver for 104.9 XFM (now KiSS Radio), JACK 96.9 and NEWS 1130.
Victorians woke up to a new sound beginning Monday, October 16, when popular radio host Robin Farrell joined AJ Cruz each weekday morning on the new Robin & AJ in the Morning on Rogers radio station Ocean 98.5.
“I’m looking forward to continuing my radio career in Victoria and being a part of this vibrant community again. Please tell my family I’m coming home!” said Farrell.
Thank you to Ocean 98.5 for joining us an event partner, and to Robin Farrell for lending your voice to a powHERful evening for Victoria women who lead and the strong men that support them.
