PowHERhouse is proud to announce our collaboration with Royal Roads University who have graciously joined us as our Academic Partner for PowHERtalks Victoria in Sidney, BC on June 18, 2016.
PowHERhouse is a social impact organization dedicated to building strong women across Canada. We utilize a multi-media platform, including our quarterly digital magazine, solid online presence, national speaker series, and lifestyle + leadership television series to move our mission forward. Learn more about PowHERhouse and our social impact mission here.
Located in one of Canada’s most beautiful National Historic Sites, Royal Roads University has a long history of excellence. In 2015, they celebrated 75 years of leadership and learning – 55 years as a military college and 20 years as a public applied research university. Royal Roads has created options to deliver an educational experience that fits your lifestyle. Their cohort model features group-based course work, providing a resource of like-minded peers for you to share, challenge and grow with. Even after graduation, these powHERful groups continue to support your aspirations to ensure your life changing experience has enabled not only professional transformation, but a personal one as well.
PowHERtalks is a uniquely empowering lifestyle + leadership presentation series providing a platform for committed, passionate women to move their missions forward and ASK for help to take action.

Royal Roads University has also joined us as a PowHER TV sponsor. Our brand-new community-focused television program airs this fall on Shaw TV throughout Vancouver Island, as well as online and through Video on Demand. The potential of a Lower Mainland airtime is very high.
Strong women build strong families. Strong families build strong communities. Strong communities build a strong future – our future.
Grateful to Royal Roads University for this opportunity to build strong women, together.
