PowHERlunch Regina | Announcing Mary Weimer – COO, Hillberg & Berk

PowHERhouse Media is pleased to welcome Mary Weimer, PowHERlunch Regina guest speaker, February 7.

A PowHERlunch is an intimate lunchtime opportunity for inspiration and connection with a wonderfully diverse cross-section of women making an impact, both locally and globally.  Our February theme is:  ON THE BRINK OF GREATNESS, and we couldn’t be more pleased to have Mary with us as we explore the conversation of living, learning and leading from a powHERful place.  Event details and registration.

Since 2013, Mary Weimer has been a driving force in the growth and development of Hillberg & Berk.  Her hands-on approach has allowed her to actively participate in all areas at the company – from buying stones around the world, to marketing, to manufacturing.  As Chief Operating Officer, her focus is on retail strategy, business growth through retail expansion, and new business opportunities. These areas encompass leasing, legal, store design, construction, retail logistics, technology and distribution of product among others.

Hillberg & Berk is a purpose-driven brand focused on empowering women through design. From its head office in Regina, Saskatchewan, Hillberg & Berk designs and manufactures jewellery that is sold through its own retail stores and wholesale accounts in Canada as well as internationally through its ecommerce website.

Prior to her role at Hillberg & Berk, Mary became an entrepreneur at the age of 23.  After completing her degree in Political Science at the University of Regina, she and her husband/business partner, Jeremy Weimer, went on to purchase a commercial art gallery in Regina, SK.  The gallery is still a successful operation today.

Mary was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan.  She has been involved with several non-profit organizations over the years as a volunteer board member: Globe Theatre, Saskatchewan Professional Art Galleries Association and most recently Youth Ballet Company of Saskatchewan.  Mary is a member of TEC Canada.  Mary and Jeremy live in Regina with their four children – Sarah, James, Claire and Ella.
