FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
PowHER TV, lifestyle and leadership television by women, about women and for women is set to launch this Monday. This brand-new community-focused television program integrates lifestyle + leadership into one place at one time, providing women with the solutions they need to build stronger bodies, business & lives. It will air September 26th on Shaw TV throughout Vancouver Island, Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton, as well as online (shawtv.ca) and nationally on Shaw VOD at no charge.
PowHER TV offers a grassroots approach to what women’s media in Canada should be and the impact it should make by focusing on building a stronger nation, one powHERful woman at a time. It is produced by Charlene SanJenko of PowHERhouse and co-produced and hosted in part by Kait Burgan. This dynamic duo will be in Calgary on October 2nd to host PowHERtalks Calgary, a national speaker series, and officially announce the show.
“PowHER TV is clearly different. It demonstrates that WE, as women, have all of the collective wisdom and answers that we need. WE are the experts. WE are whom we’ve been waiting for. The ANSWERS are all here – among us. Our job is to connect, communicate, collaborate and share these answers. Together, we grow stronger. It is my absolute pleasure to work with the Shaw TV team as a Community Producer,” explains SanJenko.
