The New Westminster & District Labour Council (NWDLC) gives a greater voice at the local level for the local unions and their members in the Lower Mainland.

The NWDLC and PowHERhouse are joining forces in support of a comprehensive commitment to engage and prepare women and non-binary people who may be interested in running a political campaign in the next one to five years.

The NWDLC acknowledges that our region is located on the traditional and unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples and our office resides on shared xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), səl̓ílwətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) territories.

PowHERhouse is based on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Nation
