Indigenous Sustainable Packaging Solutions from the Natural world.
Jennifer Harper was born on the traditional territory of Fort William First Nation, with signatory to the Robinson Superior Treaty of 1850, of the Anishinaabeg, Ojibwe, Odawa, and Pottawatomi nations, and the Metis people (Thunder Bay, Ontario). She currently lives on the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe peoples (Niagara Region). This territory is within the land protected by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum agreement.
Jennifer Harper is the founder and CEO of Cheekbone Beauty Cosmetics INC. For Jenn, makeup is a means of expression and she created Cheekbone Beauty because she felt Canada needed a brand that is never tested on animals and gives back to Indigenous communities while at the same time, Indigenous people representation. Her mission with Cheekbone Beauty is simple: Help every Indigenous Youth feel and see their enormous value in the world through the creation of sustainable coloured cosmetics.

An inclusive cosmetic foundation product using plant waste designed for all genders and skin tones. This product uses sustainable packaging created from an Indigenous worldview and incorporating the process of life cycle thinking. All parts of the product are either fully recyclable, repurposable, or biodegradable.
