Beyond Business Leadership Legacy Statement

Mike wants to leave a legacy as someone who was able to translate purpose into action with a reputation as a catalyst for change for the betterment of the lives of people around him.

Who Are You in One Sentence? How Do You Want to Be Known and Remembered?

I want to be remembered as someone who was authentic, purpose driven, had an impressionable presence, and was able to uplift the people around me.

What Do You Care Deeply About? What Do You Stand For?  Something is calling you.

I stand for integrity and accountability; I believe both in equal measure are the foundation for building trust and respect with the people I engage with.

When Do You Feel MOST Lit Up? What are You Doing at That Time? Who Are You With?

I feel most lit up when I find myself in the outdoors of the Canadian Rockies, surrounded by those closest to me -  be it carving our way down the backside of its many mountains or exploring the endless trailheads through its peaks and valleys.

Where Do You Want to be 12 Months From Now on Your Leader Path?

In 12 months, I aim to find myself in a position where I am contributing more to the world than I’m taking from it. I intend to achieve this by staying curious and continuously looking for new ways to develop and grow my strengths to meet that demand.

And Why?

To engage in work that’s meaningful to me and maximize my sense of purpose and wellbeing.
