GATHER is a community of Indigenous and non-Indigenous changemakers coming together on a consistent basis to learn, heal, and grow - together - and a digital storytelling platform that tracks these raw, real, and authentic conversations and tells the story of the wisdom gathered for a purpose throughout this individual and collective journey of expansion.

WHO is Monika Jiang?

Monika was 27 years old when she grew into her first leadership position at the House of Beautiful Business. It was an untraditional path, one that was led by her intuition and a knowing that she was in the right place, with the right people. She found a balance of autonomy and self-responsibility here and soft guidance through sensing the other. As a practice, she was constantly learning through mimicking, reflecting, intuition, drawing from my more experienced colleagues and community members. Monika is currently recalibrating her own relationship to work and contribution through her role at the House, volunteering, community work, and personal growth and while doing this she is bringing together storytelling, meaningful experience design, world sentiment and current events

Why is this conversation important?

To encourage a learning mindset that draws from embracing the unknown, playing instead of rationalizing, and sensing into the other rather than assuming.
To strengthen the stories of female and BIPOC leaders—and working towards new role models and paradigms.
To democratizing the idea of leadership and power towards sensibility, regeneration, and reciprocity.
