GATHER for HER is a community of Indigenous and non-Indigenous changemakers coming together on a consistent basis to learn, heal, and grow - together - and a digital storytelling platform that tracks these raw, real, and authentic conversations and tells the story of the wisdom gathered for a purpose throughout this individual and collective journey of expansion.

WHO is Miah Shull Olmsted?

As a founding member of both Zebras Unite and Impact Arts Co-op, Miah work with artists, makers, builders, scientists, investors, venture philanthropists, underrepresented, and underbanked entrepreneurs. Together, they maximize social, cultural, environmental and economic impact to make the world healthier, happier, and more interesting.

She is a data-driven storyteller who nurtures the twin joys of curiosity and courage. As a socially-engaged artist, Miah cultivates responsibility through community-based work.

Where Did Her Changemaker Journey Start?

For 40+ years she has been a field-based citizen scientist, focused on our oceans, educating children and youth in hands-on Field Science, conservation work worldwide, Designing & delivering community-based coursework internationally and all the while collecting data & documentary photography/video from community-based projects.

As an experienced entrepreneur, she now has several initiatives in development and is pursuing community-based impact investing, public art projects, and regenerative environmental initiatives rooted in sustainable social justice practices.
