Better together.

We are building Foundry Surrey.

Together as a community we can bring Foundry to Surrey. We can create a safe and inclusive place that offers free, confidential, and accessible mental health and substance use support, primary care, social services, and peer support for Surrey's youth and families with no referral needed.

A Fundraising Partnership for Surrey’s Youth and Families

When asked: "If this Foundry centre wasn't here, where would you go for help?"

25% of youth replied: "nowhere."

Less than one in four youth needing mental health or substance abuse support actually receive the care they deserve. Time is everything when a young person is in crisis. Ease of access to trauma-informed, compassionate and non-judgmental care makes all the difference to a young person who feels alone with nowhere to go.

In Canada, an estimated 70 per cent of mental health issues begin during childhood or adolescence.

Together, we can bring Foundry to Surrey. We have an opportunity to lift the lives of Surrey youth with generous access to the services they need.

Foundry Surrey is part of a province-wide resource network for young people ages 12 to 24 and their families to access five core services:

  • Mental Health Care
  • Substance Use Services
  • Physical and Sexual Health Care
  • Social Services, including life-skills training and more
  • Youth and Family Peer Support

As we build Foundry Surrey together, we are removing barriers to access by offering:

  • Drop-in and scheduled appointments
  • In-person and virtual options
  • Extended hours beyond the school or workday
  • Support with service navigation
  • Online resources through foundrybc.ca

With your help, Pacific Community Resources Society (PCRS) is raising $2 million to establish Foundry Surrey.
