FEED THE FIRE, a 1-Woman Show about Fear, Faith, and the Fire of Life | Events

"This is precisely the time when artists go to work. There is no time for despair, no place for self-pity, no need for silence, no room for fear. We speak, we write, we do language. That is how civilizations heal." ~ Toni Morrison

Feed The Fire is a collection of singing, stories, and prayers, a new solo show currently in development, written and performed by PowHERhouse Charlene SanJenko and her creative team, Tina Overbury and Nicolle Nattrass. Performed virtually Wednesday, April 29th, 6:30-7:30 pm.

FEED THE FIRE is the perfect opening night igniter for conferences, forums, or summits convening leaders, decision-makers, innovators, and change-makers who crave a better, brighter future and are ready to do something about it.

"I've always been deeply fascinated with the exploration of human existence and specifically how to access all that is available to us in terms of expanding our experience of this gift that is our life. When I first starting writing the show last summer, I could feel we were on the precipice of something BIG happening. I didn't know what or when I just knew I needed to start preparing. It is my intention as an artist for impact that Feed the Fire provides space for reflection, inspires hope, and shifts our perspective of our current situation that I believe is happening for us not to us."
