Day 4 Theme:  INTER-CONNECTEDNESS |  We Are One

Question for today:  Can you recall the last time something happened that reminded you that life is not linear, and we are not separate?

Today's Action Statement: Synergies + Synchronicities!

"We walk together, we move together, we think together, we resolve together, and together we take this country forward." ~ Narendra Modi

Watch my video below for my thoughts on deepening our understanding and appreciation of inter-connectedness and interlocking between like-minds for ultimate impact.

Intended Result:

Sisters walk together. It's time to ditch 'The Other'. It's time to connect all of the dots!

Words of wisdom from Dr. Shannon Waters:

"We have been focusing on issues. Issues are symptoms of disconnection, which is only working at the surface of the challenge, and delaying interconnected health and wholeness that we all crave - that we all need. Our health is something we must consider collectively."

All things are connected to each other. As women, we know our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health are interrelated and need special attention if we are carrying the next generation.

Our story of this country of Canada (to date) has been a story of disconnection of the Indigenous peoples, my ancestors, from the land. All of them living here, in this country, are affected by this origin and ongoing action. This disconnection has resulted in poor mental health, addictions, suicides, loss of knowledge, poor childhood outcomes, child apprehensions.

The crisis of our age is how we have disrupted our environment, the climate, biodiversity, true health and happiness. We cannot afford to place band-aids on the surface of this crisis.

If we delay healing, we will be in a catastrophic situation. We must get to the root of this issue. I believe strong women leaders - Sisters walking together - can lead the way!"

Why is this important?

"Acknowledging, recognizing and knowing this inter-connection and my role in it helps me stand up boldly in my leadership. It brings me beyond myself, the fears, trepidation, shame, and faults that I may have and places me into a more expansive web, extending far beyond me from my ancestors. It gives me the strength, wisdom and courage that I have what it takes to lead us forward collectively, and I draw from all that I am connected to around me."
