Cauliflower Sauce – No Need for High-Fat Alfredo Sauce Any Longer

Cauliflower Sauce covering a buried Buffalo Patty

INGREDIENTS

  • 8 large cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter (We used butter flavoured olive oil from Sunshine Coast Olive Oil)
  • 5-6 cups cauliflower florets
  • 6-7 cups vegetable broth or water
  • 1 teaspoon salt (more to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon pepper (more to taste)
  • ½ cup milk (more to taste) (We used almond milk)

 

We highly recommend this recipe and are happy to share it with you.  It’s got an incredible nutritional breakdown, and is a very flexible staple in a clean-eating diet.

 

How do we use this sauce?

*as a soup

*as a topping for turkey, buffalo or tuna patties

*as a sauce for spaghetti squash pasta
