I am here as a gateway at the intersection of relationship and empowerment at the other end of grief.
"God always allows us to feel the fragility of human love so we’ll appreciate the strength of his." - C.S.Lewis
Tara is a writer and a heart-centered advocate for human expansion and growth. She is walk-over-glass dedicated to connection and empowerment.
Tara's unique differentiators are:
- Tara is at her most powerful when she is exploring the shadows of who we are in our grief and folding the discoveries made into action.
- She brings absolutely no judgment to her work and is profoundly neutral.
- Tara freely and generously offers her varied life experiences of loss and death and endings for others to learn.
After getting a whole lot of clarity after 10 years of business building, I have come to see some of the writing on the wall that I am NOT a coach who writes and cobbles together a book when I am able, I am a writer who also coaches. I coach in service of the clients and the writing I do. My mission is to shift the conversations we have about grief and the beginnings and endings of life for everyone and not just the handful of clients in my practice at any given time.
My ASK this year is for support through my Patreon account to build my social platform and all the supporting pieces to make this mission successful, to sell 500+ advance copies of my book (I am using Publishizer for this and have a proposal-in-progress), Grief: A Love Story, secure a publishing deal with a larger publishing house, and begin a speaking tour to support it. My coaching offerings will likely shift in the long term - I am still taking on the odd client, but the big focus is on my writing.
My ASK is really about growing the platform and getting the book out, so joining the tribe through FB or Instagram and spreading the word far and wide is important. I am always looking for interesting people to be on the podcast (Grief: A Love Story), and create some social media clout for publishers. I am open to unique PR opportunities and interviews, and collaborations.
"Working with Tara has been just right. The resounding comfort of being witnessed, with love and space and humour and understanding, is profound.
Tara has a way of just being there, listening and offering quiet feedback; creating a safe container to explore the depths of one's soul. The truths I have uncovered about myself and how I interact with the world are profound and impactful, and I've just been working with Tara for a few months! Through her own life experiences with loss and grief, Tara is a person who "gets it" in a way that is enormously comforting to others who are in the trenches of grief.
Tara is real, safe, funny, kind and wholehearted. I kinda love her a lot." -Miranda C.
