PowHER TV Launch Party review, featuring Dream, Girl screening

by Charlene SanJenko, February 24, 2017

PowHERhouse Media is redefining what is means to be ‘powerful’ and modeling this new definition through digital media and live events to build strong Canadian women who lead.

On January 25th, PowHERhouse hosted the third PowHER TV launch party in a series featuring a screening of Dream, Girl.  The evening welcomed 200 women and included a networking reception, inspirational speakers and an interactive panel discussion.

We are proud to be the first organization in Western Canada to bring Dream, Girl to Nanaimo, Sechelt & Vancouver.

PowHER TV launched in late September 2016 with our pilot season, and we also utilized the Launch Parties to thank and celebrate everyone who has supported our journey ~ sponsors, collaborators, volunteers, cast & crew, mentors and friends.  At this time, we are pitching season 2 of PowHER TV to CBC.

A mentor who knows what it takes to be successful

I have recently become a member of the PowHERhouse team.  I began a mentoring program four months ago. At first I didn’t know what to expect. We set attainable goals, and I have learned new ways to keep on track. I always enjoy my six-week check-ins for the brilliant creative collaboration and much needed accountability.
